What we can help with

Corrections to the course. If a step states something that is wrong, out of date, or no longer matches what a regulator publishes, tell us where — the page and the heading is enough — and we will check it and fix it. Corrections are made in place and the review date on every page is updated.

Questions about how the site is funded. The affiliate disclosure covers most of it, but if something about the arrangement is unclear, ask and we will answer in plain terms.

Privacy requests. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have something corrected or deleted, put "Privacy request" in the subject line. We reply within 30 days and there is no charge for asking. The privacy policy sets out the process and your options if you are unhappy with the response.

Accessibility problems. If a page is hard to read, hard to operate with a keyboard, or prints badly, that is a fault worth reporting and we will fix it.

What we cannot help with

Anything to do with a game account. We are not a game company, a partner, a reseller or an authorised support channel for any product mentioned in the course. Billing problems, lost passwords, suspended accounts and refund requests must go to the vendor that holds the account — their own site has the support path, and Step 5 describes how to approach it.

Individual advice. We cannot tell you whether a particular game suits a particular child, or what you should spend. The course is general information, as our terms and conditions say, and the people best placed to answer those questions are the ones who know the household.

Legal advice. If you need to act on a consumer right, the ACCC explains what the Australian Consumer Law covers and where complaints go. For serious online harm, the eSafety Commissioner takes reports directly.

How we handle what you send

Your message, your address and anything attached are used to reply and for nothing else. They are never added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list, and they are never sold, rented or shared for marketing. Messages are kept for 24 months after the last message in the conversation, unless they are needed for a legal claim, and anything you send that we do not need in order to reply is deleted where it is lawful and reasonable to do so.

You can write from a pseudonymous address. The one exception is a request for access to or correction of personal information, where we may need enough detail to be sure we are answering the right person.

Replies usually take a few business days. A privacy request is answered within 30 days.
