Who publishes this site

wideshift.online is published by Janaland, s.r.o., Pod Habrovou 445/3, Hlubočepy, 152 00 Praha 5, Czech Republic, company registration 03031489, contactable at info@wideshift.online. By reading the site you accept these terms, which apply to the whole of it.

What the course is

The five-step course is general information for a reader approaching online riding games for the first time. It is not professional, legal, financial or security advice, and it is not tailored to your household. It is also not accredited training: there is no enrolment, no assessment, no certificate and no qualification attached to reading it, and nobody records that you did.

Nothing on this site requires payment, and no part of it is held back behind one.

Accuracy, and things that change

We write each step from sources you can check yourself and review the site at least twice a year. Even so, the things this course describes move: a vendor can change its prices, its subscription terms, its device requirements, its age rules and the contents of its product at any time, usually without telling anyone outside its own announcements.

So treat any description here as a starting point and the vendor's own current pages as the authority. Where we could not establish something from a vendor's own material, we say it is not stated rather than filling the gap. If you find an error, write to us and we will correct it.

Other websites

The course links to regulators, to a vendor and to an affiliate destination. Those sites are run by other organisations, and we have no control over their content, their availability or how they handle your information. A link is a pointer, not a recommendation of everything on the other end, and it does not mean the two organisations are connected.

Brand names

All brand names on Wideshift, Star Stable Online among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Wideshift, and none has endorsed or sponsored it. We are not an official site, a partner, a reseller or an authorised support channel for any product mentioned.

Our content

The text, layout and illustrations on this site belong to Janaland, s.r.o. You are welcome to print the checklists and use them in your own household, or to quote a short passage with a link back. Republishing whole pages is not permitted without our written agreement.

Liability

We take care with what we publish, but we cannot promise the site will be available without interruption or free of every error, and we cannot be responsible for decisions you make after reading it.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies and permits us to limit our liability, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited, at our option, to supplying the relevant services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where the publisher is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. That does not displace the protections available to you as a consumer under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law, which continue to apply where they apply, and it does not require you to give up any right to bring proceedings in your own place of residence where the law gives you that right.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the effective date above is updated and the new version applies from that date. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
